These include modules on the traditional architecture, local customs, traditional food, and local flora and fauna. The museum also includes interactive exhibits and activities such as guided tours and interactive games. The museum is open to the public and receives visitors from all over the world.

The Berber Ecomuseum of the Ourika Valley is a project of the Association for the Protection of the Environment of the Ourika Valley. The project was developed in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry of Culture, with the goal of preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Berber community in the Ourika Valley. The Ecomuseum was founded to protect and showcase  the rich Berber culture of the Ourika Valley. The main focus of the Ecomuseum is to preserve the traditional lifestyle, customs, and traditions of the Berber community, while also providing educational and recreational activities to visitors. The Ecomuseum features a wide variety of exhibits, including displays of traditional Berber crafts, such as pottery, weaving, and basketry. It also houses a collection of traditional musical instruments, as well as a gallery of historic photographs. Additionally, the Ecomuseum offers workshops, lectures, and activities for children and adults, such as traditional cooking classes, Berber storytelling, and nature walks. The Ecomuseum also serves as a platform for research and education on the Berber culture and its environment. The Ecomuseum has been credited with helping to preserve the heritage of the Berber people, as well as promoting.

Berber Ourika is a sub-Saharan Moroccan Berber-language spoken by the Ourika Berber people of the Atlas Mountains. It is closely related to the Central Atlas Tamazight language. The Ourika Berber language is spoken by approximately 14,000 people, mostly in the Ourika Valley and the surrounding areas in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. The language is also spoken in some parts of Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. Berber Ourika is the most commonly spoken language in the Ourika Valley and is the native language of the majority of the people living in the area. It is also used in some parts of the neighbouring regions, such as the Souss Massa National Park in Morocco.
